Wissenschaftliche Arbeit

Forschungsinteressen:

My project is a multidisciplinary, diverse and wide approach to explore natural products (the major source of our medicine)!

I am a pharmacy graduate and researcher. After completion of my pharmacys studies, I have been actively involved in a number of research projects covering the fields of microbiology, molecular genetics, immunology natural products, phytochemistry, pharmacy, public health and bioinformatics for over 10 years. I worked as faculty staff in different universities and was responsible for planning, assessment and reporting, research and academic supervision.

I have been involved in different projects that includes multiple approach studies. Isolation and identification of new natural products using different analytical techniques like (2D) NMR, GC, MS. On the other hand, molecular techniques were every day work for example: primer design, DNA/RNA extraction, gel electrophoresis, electroretinography (ERG), genotyping, sequencing, PCR, gene cloning and expression, restriction digestion, Western/Southern hybridization, transformation, PAGE etc.

Research topics:

  1. Microbiome (effects of natural remedies on microbiome)
  2. Endophytes/bacteria/plant (characterization and natural product isolation and)
  3. Traditional medicine (quality control aspects for standardization and modernization to reach to the commercial products.)
  4. Bioinformatic (tools for in silico screening)
  5. Bioassays (most of the common bioassays)

Our work sounds interesting? We are constantly looking for Diploma and MSc students. Contact me at .
